・Off-the-job training - Education and training outside the workplace. This refers to education and training that is conducted away from daily work, such as group training, seminars, and correspondence courses. It is a very effective initiative in the sense that it provides an opportunity to acquire uniform knowledge that is not influenced by the situation at the workplace, but on the other hand, it may not be used effectively in terms of utilizing and applying it to actual work.
