Pelophryne

Japanese: Pelophryne
Pelophryne

...Many species are large, with a body length of 10 to 15 cm. The largest are the cane toad B. marinus (illustration) and the Colombian toad B. blombergi , both of the Bufo genus, which are found in tropical America and have a maximum body length of just over 20 cm. However, the Rose's Toad B. rosei of South Africa is only about 3 cm long, and the forest toad Pelophryne of Southeast Asia is only 2 to 3 cm. In general, they have a stocky body shape with a wide head and thick body, short hind legs, and poorly developed webbed toes.
