Euler, J. d'Alembert, PS Laplace, MCT Damoiseau (1768-1846), JW Lubbock (1803-65), PG de Pontécoulant (1795-1874), G. Plana (1781-1864), SD Poisson, PA Hansen, CE Delaunay, GW Hill, JC Adams, Brown, and others appeared one after another. Among them, Hansen's Lunar Table (1857), which was based on his theory, was used as the basic data for estimating the position of the moon in the astronomical almanac for more than half a century, but it was not until 1923 that Brown's Lunar Table (1919) was succeeded. …
