Polynesian Outliers

...Population: 1000 (1970). Along with the islands of Anuta, Ontong Java, Rennell, and Verona, it forms the Polynesian Outliers in the Melanesia region. It is an old volcanic island with an egg shape of 5 km x 3 km, and has a crater 366 m above sea level.
