Prime time

...After the spread of television, it came to refer to the same time period for television. In the United States, the term prime time is used as a term roughly equivalent to golden hour. In Japan, as the prime time period for television has been extended to 11 p.m., rating survey companies and others sometimes distinguish between golden hour from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. and prime time from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m.
