...In the 16th century, Algeria, Tunisia, and Libya were conquered by the Ottoman Empire, but in the 17th century, they began to gain independence from the Ottoman Empire under the leadership of indigenous Turkish soldiers. In other words, Algeria was ruled by a military satrap called Dey from 1671, Tunisia saw the establishment of the Murad dynasty (1613-1705) and the Hussein dynasty (1705-1958), and Libya saw the establishment of the Qaramanli dynasty (1711-1835) of the Kulghli people, who were the children of Turkish soldiers and local people. Meanwhile, Morocco saw the establishment of the Sa'd dynasty (1549-1659) led by Sharif, the Alawite dynasty (Filarid dynasty, etc.) and the Alawite dynasty (Filarid dynasty, etc.).
