A type of liquid government bond issued by the government when there is a temporary shortage of national funds due to tax periods or other reasons for budget execution. The Bank of Japan underwrites it, and the government must repay it with revenues for that fiscal year. 蔵券(くらけん)とも。食糧証券,外国為替資金証券と並ぶ政府短期証券。予算の執行上,納税期などの関係で一時国庫金の不足する場合に政府が発行する流動公債の一種。日本銀行が引き受け,政府は当該年度の歳入で償還しなければならない。一時借入金と同様最高発行額を予算総則に定め,国会の議決を要する。
