Japanese: 尾長鶏 - オナガドリ

A breed of chicken. It was created in Tosa (Kochi Prefecture) at the end of the Edo period. The male's tail feathers continue to grow without being shed, and some can reach over 8 meters in length. 鶏の一品種。江戸末期に土佐（高知県）で作り出された。雄の尾羽は抜け換わらずに伸び続け、8メートルを超すものもある。羽色は白色、褐色、白と黒のまじりなどがある。特別天然記念物。長尾鶏ちょうびけい・ながおどり。
