The main temple of the Sechín ruins in Casma City on the central coast is surrounded by a huge wall made of stone carvings of warriors' heads and severed human body parts. In the Paracas Cavernas culture in the south, no buildings have been confirmed, but Chavin cat motifs can be seen on various pottery and textiles discovered in tombs.
