Senkere

…A ruined city located about 15 km southeast of Uruk in Iraq. Its current name is Sinkara (Senkere). It was the capital of an independent Amorites (Amurites) dynasty that was established shortly after the fall of the Third Dynasty of Ur (2112-2004 BC). Its fifth king, Gungunum (reigned 1932-1906 BC), brought Ur under his control, and thereafter shared control of southern Mesopotamia with Isin to the north. …
