Snow gum (English spelling)

...Dense riverine forests of red gum (Eucalyptus spp.) are established along the large rivers in the lowlands. In the high mountain areas in the southeastern part of the continent, alpine elements such as the endemic Australian heath (Epacris family; heaths in the Old World belong to the Ericaceae family), clumping herbaceous plants, and snow gum (Eucalyptus spp.) appear. On the other hand, in the northeastern and northern parts of the continent, subtropical and tropical forests appear, with vines and epiphytes growing abundantly on the forest floor.
