...Inusenburi (O. diluta (Turcz.) Ledeb.var. tosaensis (Makino) Toyokuni) is similar to Senburi, but its medicinal properties are somewhat inferior, so it is called Inusenburi instead of Inu. Although they are in different genus, closely related plants are widely distributed in high mountains and cold regions of the Northern Hemisphere, including Himesenburi (Lomatogonium carinthiacum (Wulfen) Reichb.f.), which is only found in the high mountain zone of the Southern Alps and Yatsugatake in Japan, Chishimasenburi (Frasera tetrapetala (Pall.) Toyokuni), which is found in Hokkaido, and Takanesenburi ssp. micrantha (Takeda) Toyokuni, a small subspecies of this species found in the high mountain zone of northern and central Honshu, and Miyamaakebonosou (Swertia perennis L.ssp. cuspidata (Maxim.)
