Japanese: 尾上梅幸(6世) - おのえばいこう[ろくせい]

Born: October 15, 1870 (Meiji 3), Nagoya
[Died] November 8, 1934. Tokyo Kabuki actor. Stage name Otowaya. Real name Terashima Einosuke. Onnagata. Adopted son of Onoe Kikugoro 5. In 1903, he succeeded to the 6th name. When the Imperial Theater opened in 1911, he became the head of the arts committee (zato), and won rave reviews for his pairing with Ichimura Uzaemon 15. He was good-looking, and excelled in period dramas, comedy, and dance, and was especially good at live comedy. The first to fifth generations of Onoe Kikugoro used their former names or pen names.
