Toy

Japanese: toaille
Toy

...It is a type of ring weave, and refers to a fabric used for bathing cloths, but generally hand towels made from this fabric are called towels. The name comes from the Middle French toaille (cloth for washing and wiping). It is also called terry cloth, but terry comes from the French tirer, which means "to draw out," and the name was given to it because the fabric is made into rings by drawing out the threads.
