《Titurel》 (English spelling)

...His works include three epics and eight lyric poems. His masterpiece, Partifal (written around 1200-10), is a magnificent knightly epic poem that depicts the spiritual development of a simple and naive man who, through repeated adventures and mistakes, reaches the throne of the Grail King. His unfinished epic poem Willehalm (written around 1212-20) is a free adaptation of a French epic poem commissioned by Landgrave Herman, and praises Christian tolerance, philanthropy, and marital love through the battle between Christian knights and the pagan Saracens. The fragment Titurel, written around the same time, is the story of Minne (the love) of Signe in Partifal, and attempts to adopt the stanzas of heroic epic poetry (titurel stanzas). Five of the lyric poems are so-called "tagerids" (nudist songs) about lovers' lamentations at dawn, and they are the first to feature the role of the night watchman watching over the lovers.
