(A variation of "Konju") The name of a gagaku piece. One of the Lin'yugaku (Rin'yugaku) pieces . Ichikotsu style. Early music. A solo dance. Wearing a vermilion mask and holding a drumstick- shaped instrument, the dancer dances in the pose of a drunk person. Konzu. Koinzu. Koinju. Banquet and drinking music. Suiko music. ※Kokin Chomonshu (1254), 6: "When the Tadao Hoko drinking party was held, this piece was often played by the Emperor, and this time it was particularly excellent, so the Emperor announced to me." [Glossary] (1) According to "Rakkaloku - 28, Chinese Music," it is read as "Komu Zhiyu, sake character turbid," so it should be read as "konju," but in "Zatsumi Bekkuroku," it also appears as "koimuzu," and it seems to have been read in both ways.
(2) This piece belongs to Tang music and should originally have been danced on the left side, but it is an unusual piece in that it was passed down to the Ta clan on the right side.

Coins [Hu drinking]
