...Among them, Babić, Juhász Gyula (1883-1937), and Kosztolány Dezső were poets of the Symbolist movement, while Moritz started out with Nyugat, but went his own way, and is said to be the father of Hungarian modern realism. Karinty and Krúdy Gyula (1870-1933), who had close ties with Nyugat, excelled in urbane works. Molnár, another urbane writer, achieved worldwide fame for his plays.
