Konigsberg (English spelling)

...Population: 415,100 (1994). Formerly known as Königsberg. The city is located on both sides of the mouth of the Pregolya River, which flows into the Bay of Vislinsk (Vistula) in the southeastern Baltic Sea. It is also an ice-free port connected to the outer port of Baltiisk (formerly Pillau) by a 42 km long sea canal. It is also the headquarters of the Baltic Fleet.
