...The Haya are a stratified tribe consisting of the Hima, a pastoralist, and the Iru, an agriculturalist, who migrated from the Bunyoro Kingdom in the north in the 14th and 15th centuries. In the early 17th century, the two sons of Igaba, a king of the Bunyoro Kingdom of the Babito dynasty, Ruhinda and Kibi, gained control of the Haya, and the Kiziba Kingdom was founded by Kibi and became a vassal state of the Bunyoro Kingdom.
