Kenoran orogenic movement

Japanese: Kenoran orogenic movement(英語表記)Kenoranorogenicmovement
Kenoran orogenic movement

…The crustal movement that marks the end of the Archean Era in the Canadian Shield. It is also called the Kenoran orogenic movement. The intrusion of the Argoman Granite and the associated metamorphism occurred 2.2 to 2.6 billion years ago, with an average of 2.5 billion years ago. …

From the Canadian Shield

...orogens were formed around this area from the Paleozoic onwards. In the past, the orogeny accompanied by the intrusion of the Argoman granitic rocks (Argoman Orogeny) was considered to be the boundary between the Archean and Proterozoic eras, but in recent years this has come to be called the Kenoran orogenic movement (2.4 to 2.56 billion years ago). Based on its history of development, the Canadian Shield is divided into areas made up of rocks from the Archean era (2.5 to 3.7 billion years ago), areas made up of rocks from the Early Proterozoic era (1.6 to 2.5 billion years ago), and areas made up of rocks from the Middle Proterozoic era (800 to 1.6 billion years ago).
