Intervision

...usually refers to a facility or business entity with the functions and equipment to produce and broadcast radio or television programs. In terms of communications technology, a broadcasting station is a type of radio station, and broadcasting companies can only establish and operate a broadcasting station after obtaining a license as a radio station for the purpose of broadcasting (Broadcasting Law). Broadcasting stations are given a special position among radio stations in that they are not limited to specific receivers, but are received directly by the general public. Broadcasting stations that house so-called studios and administrative departments are usually located in the center of cities due to restrictions such as transportation access.
