695－777 A nobleman from the Nara period.
Born in the 9th year of the reign of Empress Jitō. His wife was the daughter of Fujiwara no Fuhito. In the 8th year of Tenpyō Shōhō, while he was Izumo no Kami, he was accused of slandering the Imperial Court and was imprisoned in the Ejifu, but was released three days later. In the 9th year, he was implicated in the Tachibana no Naramaro Incident and was exiled to Tosa (Kochi Prefecture). In the first year of the Hōki era, he was restored to the rank of Junior Fourth Rank Upper and became Yamatono Kami. Later, he was Junior Third Rank. He died on August 19, 8th year of the Hōki era. He was 83 years old. His name may be Kojibi, Koshinbi, or Koshibi.

持統天皇9年生まれ。妻は藤原不比等(ふひと)の娘。天平勝宝(てんぴょうしょうほう)8年出雲守(いずものかみ)のとき朝廷を誹謗(ひぼう)したとされて衛士府(えじふ)にとじこめられ,3日後放免された。9年橘奈良麻呂(たちばなの-ならまろ)の変に連座して土佐(高知県)に流罪となる。宝亀(ほうき)元年従四位上に復位し,大和守。のち従三位。宝亀8年8月19日死去。83歳。名は古慈備,祜信備,祜志備ともかく。
