...attitude director indicator (ADI) and horizontal situation indicator (HSI). ADI is an integrated function of three things: artificial horizon, turning inclinometer, and deviation display from the approach course by ILS. It displays in the vertical plane, but it does not just display information, it also has the function of instructing the maneuvers required to carry out the flight procedure selected in advance (flight director function).
