Heart of Dixie

...It has a humid, warm climate, and pine and other forests are widespread. Located in the center of the South, it is called the "Heart of Dixie," and Montgomery was the first capital of the Confederate States of America during the Civil War. It has long been known as a cotton-producing region, and is also called the "Cotton State."
