Haya

…a small kingdom in northwest Tanzania, East Africa, near the mouth of the Kagera River on the west shore of Lake Victoria. The inhabitants were a branch of the Haya people. The Haya were a stratified tribe consisting of the Hima, a pastoral people, and the Iru, a farming people, who migrated from the Bunyoro Kingdom to the north in the 14th and 15th centuries.
