Haramosh

The Great Karakoram, which consists of seven mountain ranges called muztāgh, meaning "ice mountain" in Turkish and Turkic, including Batūra, Hispar, and Baltoro, is located to the south and parallel to the Great Karakoram, which is about 6,000 meters above sea level. The Lesser Karakoram is made up of five mountain ranges, including Rakaposhi, Haramosh, and Saltoro. The Karakoram was formed by the uplift of the sedimentary layers of the Tethys Ocean due to mountain building that began at the end of the Mesozoic era.
