...Among them, the Socialist Revolutionary Alliance led by Andrei Aleksandrovich Argunov (1866-1939), who aimed to restore the power of terror, and the early Socialist Revolutionary Party, which did not reject peasant maneuvers and aimed to unify organizations, decided to merge in December 1901, after discussions with Gershuny, Mariya Frolovna Selyuk (1872-?), Azev, and others while abroad, and the party was born when exiles joined. Chernov and Mikhail Rafalovich Gots (1866-1906) joined the editorial staff of the party's organ, Revolutionary Russia. Gershuny tried to organize the Socialist Revolutionary Party's combat corps to carry out the terror, and after the assassination of Interior Minister Sipyagin in April 1902, he had it officially recognized by the party.
