[Children's songs from other countries]

Generally, they are called game songs, game-rhymes, or singing games in English, but they do not always involve specific games, and nursery rhymes that are simply catchy chants are of course considered a type of nursery rhyme. Mother Goose is a typical example, and Jack and Jill and London Bridge is Falling Down can be said to be representative British nursery rhymes.
