Eunice fucata , a member of the family Euniceidae, which lives on the shallow sea floor of the Florida region, performs reproductive schooling around the time of the waning quarter moon from late June to late July, and this has been known for a long time as the Atlantic palolo. The Japanese hullfish also performs reproductive schooling a few days after the new moon and full moon from October to November.
