The remaining nine species live in cold waters, mainly in the sub-Antarctic, but of these, the King Penguin ( Aptenodytes patagonicus ), the Gentoo Penguin (Pygoscelis papua ), the Rockhopper Penguin ( Eudyptes chrysocome ), and the Macaroni Penguin ( E. chrysolophus ) are found in relatively wide areas of the sub-Antarctic islands. The Yellow- browed Penguin ( Eudyptes pachyrhynchus ), the Yellow-browed Penguin ( E. sclateri ), the Snares Penguin ( E. robustus ), and the Little Penguin ( Eudyptula minor ) are found in the waters mainly in southern New Zealand.
