Drumlin

... When land that is originally flat is covered by a glacier, a gently undulating topography is formed, strongly influenced by geological structures. Due to the damming of sedimentary landforms such as drumlins, eskers (from the Irish word eiscir), and moraines, lakes and marshes can form, as in the area around Hudson Bay (Canada). Mountains that rose above the surface of the glacier during the Ice Age have a gently sloping topography due to glacial erosion at the base, but a rugged topography at the peak.
