Dalli‐type

...The name given to individuals whose white spots on the sides of their bodies reach the pectoral fins, and is also called the Truei type (English name True's porpoise). In contrast, the type whose white spots end below the dorsal fin is called the Dall 's porpoise. In some cases, the two types are considered to be separate subspecies, but since there is no difference other than the body color, they are considered to be variations within the same species.
