A land mass that juts out to the north between Shinnanyan (44°30'E) and William Scoresby Bay (59°30'E) on the Antarctic continent (its northern tip, Cape Ann, is at 66°10'S). It was discovered by the British John Biscoe in February 1831 and was named after his shipowner, Enderby. The land mass is dotted with mountain ranges up to about 2000m above sea level, stretching out to about 300km south. Australia claims sovereignty over it.
