Concert Lamoureux (English)

...The most important achievement of this was the founding of the "New Concert Society" in 1881 after he had served as the conductor of the Opéra Comique and the Opéra Garnier. In 1897, this changed its name to the "Concert Lamoureux" and continues to exist to this day. Lamoureux and his concert society preferred to play the works of his contemporaries, such as Lalo, d'Indy, Chabrier, and Chausson, and especially the music of R. Wagner.
