[Types of concrete]
Cold weather concrete is classified according to the temperature at the time of construction, and refers to concrete that is constructed when there is a risk of the concrete freezing during the curing period after pouring. The hydration reaction between water and cement slows down at low temperatures, and if the concrete freezes (-0.5 to -2.0°C), not only will the hydration not progress, but the quality of the finished product will also deteriorate significantly.
