Callionymus lunatus (English spelling)

...A general term for marine fish of the family Callionymus in the order Perciformes, or one of these species. Callionymus lunatus (illustration) is a small fish commonly found along the coasts of Japan, measuring about 20 cm in length. It has many local names, such as gotsubaba and shikkui in Kagoshima, nodokusari in Kochi and Osaka, megochi in Fukuoka, and nigajiro in Onahama.
