Bathynella natus (English spelling) Bathynellanatus

...There are two orders of closely related living species, the Stygochariformes, of which four species are known from South America. Since the first species, Bathynella natus , was discovered in a well in Prague in 1882, about 130 species have been described from all over the world. More than 20 species are known from Japan, of which B. yezoensis has been collected from groundwater in Hokkaido, B. inlandica from well water in the Kinki, Chugoku, and Shikoku regions, and Allobathynella carinata from groundwater in Tokyo.
