Āśvayujī (English spelling) Asvayuji

...Offerings to the snakes are made daily until the beginning of winter, when their activity subsides. At the beginning of autumn, a festival called Āśvayujī is held. This is the season considered favorable for the breeding of cattle, and also the time when the cows that gave birth to calves during the rainy season are expected to produce the most milk. This festival is held especially to pray for the health of the cows.
