Molluscs are further divided into seven classes: Aplacophora, Polyplacophora, Monoplacophora, Gastropoda, Scutellar, Bivalvia, and Cephalopoda. (1) Aplacophora refers to the worm-like mollusks. They have a long, worm-like body and lack a shell.
