In Greek mythology, Eros was the god of love. In Latin, he was called Amor or Cupid. In the Theogony, Hesiod describes Eros as the most beautiful of the gods, who was born with Chaos (chaos) at the time of the creation of the world, followed by Gaia (earth) and Tartarus (the abyss).
