Algazel

…Also known as Ghazzali. His Latin name was Algazel. Born in Tus, Khorasan, he studied Islamic studies, including Shafi'i jurisprudence and Ash'ari theology, under the great scholar Imam al-Haramain at the Nizamiya College in Nishapur.
