Aethus indicus

...Many species fly in to lights at night, and in the Ryukyu Islands, hundreds of them sometimes fly into rooms, causing trouble due to their smell and entering ear canals. Such pests are known to occur with the southern round-ground stink bug Aethus indicus and the small-ground stink bug Geotomus pygmaeus , the latter of which can occasionally bite human skin. The red-ground stink bug Parastrachia japonensis is a large species, about 18 mm long, with black circular markings on a red background.
