Romanticism is an innovative literary and ideological movement that developed in Germany, France, England and other parts of Europe from the end of the 18th century to the first half of the 19th century. Its main characteristic was that it broke away from many of the restrictions that existed in "culture" and pursued free and integrated expression on various levels. Romantic theater or romanticism theater as mentioned here refers to the theatrical movement that was part of this innovative movement. Source: Heibonsha World Encyclopedia, 2nd Edition Information |
