Born: September 9, 1875 in Naples Died August 28, 1935. Italian jurist and politician. A hard-line nationalist, he constructed a theoretical system for a fascist totalitarian state. Under the fascist regime, he served as Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies from 1924 to 1925 and Minister of Justice from 1925 to 1932. In 1926, he enacted the Rocco Law, which unified the industrial sector and labor unions and allowed them to cooperate with each other as a single legal organization, thus turning Italy's economic and labor circles into fascists.
