Lingbao Jing (literal translation: Lingbao Sutra)

Japanese: 霊宝経 - れいほうけい（英語表記）Líng bǎo jīng

It is one of the Taoist scriptures, and forms the core of the Cao Xuan section of the Daoist Canal. Based on the relatively old Lingbao Sutra, which is centered on talismans such as the Lingbao Sutra, Preface to the Five Talismen of the Lingbao Sutra, and the True Text of the Five Chapters of the Lingbao Sutra, which appear in Ge Hong's 4th century Baopuzi, the source of the current Lingbao Sutra was compiled by Lu Xiujing in the 5th century, and is said to have originally consisted of 10 volumes and 36 volumes. After Lu Xiujing, under the strong influence of Mahayana Buddhist doctrine, many new Lingbao Sutras were created, including the Duren Sutra, which mainly preaches about the salvation of all living beings.
