[died] Bishop of Cagliari in Sardinia around 370. He was a fierce opponent of Arianism and supported the anti-Arian Athanasius. He was expelled from the Council of Milan in 355 for refusing to agree to the condemnation of Athanasius. He also refused to recognize Meletius as bishop in Antioch and appointed Paulinus as bishop in 362, which caused a split in the church until Meletius' death. He opposed the decision of the Council of Alexandria in 362 to forgive Arians who had converted, and retired to Sardinia to form a sect called the Luciferians.

サルジニアのカリアリ司教。アリウス主義に激しく反対し，反アリウス派のアタナシウスを支持。 355年のミラノ教会会議でアタナシウス断罪への同意を拒んで追放された。また 362年アレクサンドリア教会会議へ出席の途上，アンチオキアでメレチウスを司教と認めず，パウリヌスを司教としたため同教会はメレチウスの死まで分裂した。 362年の会議が転向したアリウス派をゆるすことを決定したのに反対，サルジニアに引退してルチフェル派と呼ばれる分派を形成した。
