Born in 1766. A Jodo Shinshu monk. A disciple of Nagata Teiryu. After his master's death, he became an influential figure in the Osaka Kyoka world and had many disciples. This school was called the Rippa school. He passed away on July 7, 1772, at the age of 64. His edited works include "Kyoka Masumi Kagami" and "Kyoka Kun."
