Rikkatei wood chips
1710-1773 A kyoka poet from the mid-Edo period.
Born in 1766. A Jodo Shinshu monk. A disciple of Nagata Teiryu. After his master's death, he became an influential figure in the Osaka Kyoka world and had many disciples. This school was called the Rippa school. He passed away on July 7, 1772, at the age of 64. His edited works include "Kyoka Masumi Kagami" and "Kyoka Kun."

宝永7年生まれ。浄土真宗の僧。永田貞柳の高弟。師没後の大坂狂歌壇の実力者としておおくの門弟をかかえた。この一派は栗派(りっぱ)とよばれた。安永2年7月7日死去。64歳。編著に「狂歌真寸鏡(ますかがみ)」「狂歌訓」など。
