A town in Yoro County in southwestern Gifu Prefecture. The west is the Yoro Mountains, where Yoro Park, known for its Yoro Falls, is located, and the east is the Waju area on the right bank of the Ibi River. Poultry farming, rice, vegetable and fruit cultivation are thriving. The main settlement, Takada, is the center of the whole county, and is served by the Yoro Railway. Area 72.29 km2 . 岐阜県南西部，養老郡の町。西部は養老山地で，養老滝で知られる養老公園があり，東部は揖斐(いび)川右岸の輪中(わじゅう)地帯が広がる。養鶏，米，野菜，果樹栽培が盛ん。主集落高田は郡全域の中心で，養老鉄道が通じる。72.29km2。３万1332人（2010）。
