A town in Yoro County in southwestern Gifu Prefecture. The west is the Yoro Mountains, where Yoro Park, known for its Yoro Falls, is located, and the east is the Waju area on the right bank of the Ibi River. Poultry farming, rice, vegetable and fruit cultivation are thriving. The main settlement, Takada, is the center of the whole county, and is served by the Yoro Railway. Area 72.29 km2 .
