Yang Xian

A calligrapher from the Qing Dynasty in China. His pen name was Kenzan, and his pen names included Yonzai, Bakuou, and Chihong Zansou. He was from Guian (Zhejiang Province). He was the governor of Songjiang Prefecture in Jiangsu Province. He was well versed in Han slavery, and studied ceremonial inscriptions in particular, and pioneered a new style of calligraphy in the Northern Stele School of the Qing Dynasty. His works include "Yongzhai Wenshu" and "Chihongxuan Zhishu."

中国，清の書家。字は見山，号は庸斎，藐翁 (ばくおう) ，遅鴻残叟など。帰安 (浙江省) の人。官は江蘇省松江府知事にいたった。漢隷に詳しく特に礼器碑を学び，清代の北碑派に新しい書風を開いた。著書に『庸斎文集』『遅鴻軒誌鈔』がある。
