Enjuin Temple

...The valley stretches for about 2km from the mouth of the falls, and is lined with more than 50 waterfalls, pools and rapids, all of which blend beautifully with the rocks and broadleaf trees. At the mouth of the falls, there are many inns and souvenir shops, as well as Enjuin Temple, which enshrines Akame Fudoson. Akame Gorge has been designated a Place of Scenic Beauty, and is known as a habitat for the giant salamander (Tokuten).
